Linens and Bowls and Gold - Oh My! Plus Blog Sale Wrap Up
Did you know that nearly 100% of my decorative treasures...
come from Goodwill,
yardsales,
and flea markets?
Nothing in these vignettes was bought new...and you know?
I'm really proud of that!
I think I'm addicted to old Italian gold leaf frames. I've been collecting them for years.
And I'm always on the lookout for fresh looking white linens...
and simple white bowls. I think one can never have too many!
{ Shhh... Don't tell anyone, but this little vintage frame is made of plastic, but it holds it's own beautifully with the other fancy frames, don't you think?}
These are just a few of the kinds of things I'm on the lookout for while out thrifting. What are you drawn to when out looking for your own treasures?
I cannot express to you all just how appreciative I am of your unbelievable support of my blog sale this week. I sold about 2/3 of the 40 something items I listed on Monday, the first day. And whew! Did you guys pay quickly or what! I'm telling you, I have the best readers in blogland! I have a couple of more invoices to get out from yesterday's sales {while I was on a really fun field trip with my daughter} and now it's time to get everything packed up over the next few days and shipped out to you. Thank you again! It feels so good to be able to pass my treasures along to you! Today I have reduced the prices of the few remaining items so please let me know in the comment section, along with your zip code, if you see anything you're interested in. I joined Deborah's Blog Sale Link party this week so be sure to check out the other sales, too, and join in on the fun if you have some items that need new homes. :)

Such a nice thing to reminisce over such precious finds! I love white linen as well. This gave me an idea to post stuff I find in vintage shops as well! Thanks!

I would love to buy those Restoration Hardware curtain panels, but I just moved into a new apartment and don't know my window measurements. I'm at work right now, but as soon as I get home I'm going to measure and get back to you!!
ReplyDeleteChristina, I would love to see your vintage finds!
ReplyDeleteAnne, sounds great! Another poster has written me about the curtains but needs to take measurements this evening as well, so I guess they'll go to whoever I hear from first. Thank you for your interest! They are nice panels!
I would like to purchase the scalloped shell bowl. My zip is 84075. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Leann! I'll put you down for the shell bowl now. :)
ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteI also collect white vintage linen and embroidered linens. Yours look wonderful against the gold frames.
Thank you for participating in my blog sale link party and for the shout out. I will be posting one more list of things for sale.
Your Friend,
Deborah
Love your gold frames. I have been on the lookout for them recently. Hard to find in my area, but I do love them. Gorgeous vignette. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deborah! I love the juxtaposition between the fancy gold in an old basket against the simple white items. And thank YOU for having another blog sale party!
ReplyDeleteMarty, they are hard to find, aren't they? A good portion of mine I bought all at once at a friend's yard sale but the rest I've picked up here and there when I can snag them.
I would love the Restoration Hardware curtains

Love your take on life, and the way you appreciate simplicity. Beautiful is not synonymous with costly. You've proven that. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love this. Recycling at it's best. Plus I feel like we all went on a flea market trip together and got to see what everyone likes.
