Where thou art, that is home. ~Emily Dickinson
Hello dear ones. How are you? It is finally spring and though we are having our fair share of storms and rain, I am so glad to finally see the season changing in earnest. The grass is so green, it is almost fluorescent!
We've been busy here at our little cottage in the making and boy, do we have a lot of painting ahead of us! I know I've been remiss in making frequent updates, but it seems that for the time being, my time just keeps getting 'smaller and smaller'. {Don't worry - some have asked out of concern if I might be thinking about closing my blog - that will *never* happen!} But I've committed myself to an even fuller month of volunteer community ministry work on top of what I regularly participate in, plus the children are now in art and piano lessons... it seems like I'm zipping back and forth from home frequently throughout the day and my computer time has been minimal! Like I've said before, though... I hope that you'll always view my updates as a letter from an old friend and to expect to hear from me sooner or later! {sometimes sooner - sometimes later!}
I have some exciting news to announce in the next couple of weeks concerning some of what I've been working on lately. But for now, I wanted to let everyone know that the 5th Annual Cottage Charm Giveaway is coming up! As you may know, this takes place during the entire month of May ... May 1st - May 29th to be exact. This is a very exciting time both for bloggers who offer Cottage Charm giveaways on their blogs and for those that sign up to win those fabulous giveaways. Tomorrow {Saturday} I will be posting detailed information regarding this annual event, but if you are new to my blog and are curious now, feel free to read about last year's Cottage Charm Giveaway and see all the items that were given away by generous bloggers. We had such a great time and each year just gets better and better! If you are planning on participating by offering a giveaway during this event, you have two weeks to get your giveaway together if you'd like to add your giveaway on May 1st but remember, you can enter a giveaway during any time in May. So I just wanted to give everyone a heads up... and again, I will be posting the details tomorrow. :)
Until then, have a great evening and we'll talk soon!
