MIA
I've been missing in action lately...mostly because I have photos to post but can't yet post them. Our thingamajig (cardreader?) is broken and I can't upload my photos so I think until we replace it, I'll have to have a friend burn them onto a disk (Oooooh, Jason!!!!!)
All of our cabinets are primed inside and out now (two coats of primer!) and hubs will caulk them this weekend. Next week, I'll begin adding color...Homestead Resort Parlor Taupe on the inside and Cherry red on the outside.
Our kitchen was turned upside down with all the priming going on (as future pictures will show). Last weekend, hubs brought in an armoire from the garage where we are temporarily storing our food and dishes. Now instead of CHAOS we have ORGANIZED CHAOS:)

You have done such a wonderful job on your kitchen cabinets. I'm sure you have posted somewhere what your doing for the doors. Can you direct me? If not, are you replacing them or resurfacing?
Hi Gerrie! Thanks!
The doors are going to be painted, too. They are already nice doors and it just makes sense to keep them. We will be replacing the hardware, however, with oil-rubbed bronze handles:)
Thanks for dropping in!
I was wondering....would your husband consider telling us how to make the mitered corners for the cabinet trim? We're clueless. We have a miter box, but which cut would you make for each side?
I'll be eagerly awaiting photos of the cupboards, I love the paint color you've chosen so much!
Also wanted to mention that I just saw the comments you left at my blog today! *wipes egg off face* I didn't realize I had to go looking for them and approve them until today! EEP sorry!
I can't wait to see what more you have done in your kitchen. I just loe what you are doing, and hope you get those pictures posted soon.
Gerrie, I'll ask him and let you know. We didn't use a miter box but a miter saw so I don't know if that would make a difference. I dread doing the crown moulding on our walls, lol!
Thanks, Poppy! Hehe, that's ok about the comments. No problem! Thanks for dropping by!
Hi Denise! I wish our work here wasn't so slow! Between the kids and hubs work schedule, things move at snails pace, but little by little we're getting it done...slowly but surely!
