My Apologies - Yard Sale is Still Coming!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I've been working since before 8 this morning photographing cottage yard sale items, resizing the photos, and now uploading them to Blogger, adding descriptions and pricing. I didn't realize I had so many items and it's taking *much* longer than I thought it would. I am so sorry!
But everything will be up and ready to go in the next couple of hours. Barring no Blogger problems (meaning if Blogger accepts the amount of photos I have...), I will post the items at 5 central time. I want to be fair and give everyone a chance to be here at the same time, thus the specific time. Thank you again for your patience. This is the first time I've done this and I've definitely learned that it takes longer than you think!
Until then, here are the instructions (for lack of a better word, hehe) for purchasing, and other details. I'll repost these when my sale begins, too.
Everything will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Every item will be given a name and number. If you want to buy any item or items, just leave a comment below the yard sale post (not this one, please!!!) along with:
(1)the item name and number,
(2)your email address
Lastly, Please contact me after claiming items and include your mailing address. After I have an opportunity to weigh your package containing all your items on my postal scale, I'll calculate shipping and send you an invoice that includes shipping costs through PayPal. Shipping costs are calculated by the USPS based on weight and destination. I will try and get your items weighed and your invoice to you before this Friday but again, depending on how may people buy, it could take a little longer. Thank you for your patience!
As mentioned in my last post, all I ask is that folks consider carefully before claiming items because everyone loses out when claimed items are forgotten about by the buyer. I really would like to put everything that doesn't sell online this week in my yard sale on Friday and would rather not have to deal with items that I'm not sure are "sold" or not. I hope you understand:)
I said that I would ship items on Tuesday after my actual yard sale this coming up weekend (as I won't have the time before then to mail due to working on the rest of the yard sale things for this weekend), but depending on how much I sell, it may take a day or two longer. Like I mentioned, I have more stuff than I thought! My husband and I have a 100% positive feedback on Ebay and we take our transactions (buying and selling) very seriously, so you won't have to worry about not receiving your items.
Ok, the "good stuff" is coming soon..stay tuned!
