Yard Sale Update! + Discount on the Few Remaining Items...

I am absolutely thrilled with the turnout for my first online yard sale! I appreciate all of you helping to support it. All but 11 of the #47 items I listed sold in just a couple of days - and that just boggles my mind, hehe! I've sent out invoices to everyone except a small handful who still need to get back to me with their mailing address and one more that I've contacted and am holding off invoicing until I can determine the least expensive shipping method. I will be mailing packages out in the order that I receive payment and will work on that next week as I stated earlier.

Many of you have expressed interest in doing your own online sale (yard sale, tag sale, flea market - or whatever you choose to call it) and I think that would be wonderful! When you do have one, please let me know so that I can not only visit, but help spread the word by linking to it here on my blog. I'd like to have a permanent section for mostly used cottage / vintage / decor oriented "online blog sales" in the right hand column of my page. Wouldn't that be fun?! So if you have one, let me know! (OH, and if you do have one, make sure you ask folks to include their zip code in their comments for faster processing of orders - next time I'll know that!!)

I wanted to post a few more items for this online yard sale of mine, but hubs has taken the camera to work with him for two days in a row, so I think I'll hold off adding further items. Maybe I'll save them for a future yard sale. For the few items that are remaining, I'm going to reduce their price and try to find new homes for them before my actual in real life yard sale.

I bought these dishes when I was considering decorating in red and apple/lime green - the colors look great together, don't you think?! Note: The cinnabar red teacups are sold separately below and the tea towels have been bought. I just wanted to show you how lovely the apple/lime green looks with my favorite color, red!)
