Road Trip! and Naomi Lynn: For the Love of Paper
It's spring break and we are actually taking a break of our own from all things remodeling related by going on a road trip! Where are we headed? To Laura Ingalls Wilder's homestead on Rocky Ridge Farm in Mansfield, Missouri. I'm a huge Laura fan, so hubs really surprised and pleased me when he told me what he had in mind. We also will be going to the Memphis Zoo, doing some hiking, and who knows what else.:) We have one more work day to get in here at Twice Remembered first - which includes more trim work and hopefully more beadboard for our hallway...oh, and packing for the trip! Because we'll be away, I won't be hosting Make Your Monday this upcoming week but will pick it up again the week after.
While we take this little break, please take a moment to visit my talented sponsors, including Naomi Lynn...For the Love of Paper. Naomi specializes in beautiful personalized stationery and offers a diverse array of styles and colors.
Below are few of my favorite items at Naomi Lynn's right now - but she loves new projects, so if you have something else in mind, just let her know!
I love these vintage style calling cards...
...and how classic are these "Let's Get Together" note cards?
Or these personalized cards in beautiful script?
You know I love the old fashioned images Naomi uses, like this quill pin and inkwell...
and this bicycle....
or how about this old typewriter?
With most of the paper goods Naomi Lynn has to offer, you can choose from 25 eye catching colors.
To see even more of Naomi's creations, please visit Naomi Lynn...For the Love of Paper and enjoy working with her to come up with just the right personalized stationery or calling card for you!
We'll see you in a few days! Enjoy your last day of winter today {Saturday} and first day of spring tomorrow!

I heart that you introduced us to Naomi Lynn! I love the "get together" card! Have fun on your road trip! We passed the Laura stop when road tripping it last year! A bit bummed we didn't stop, but with 5 boys in the car...well, they don't get it!

Lol, Kristin, I can only imagine! Hubs isn't a fan and neither is one of my daughters! But hopefully they won't mind it *too* terribly much!
I hope you have an amazing little break, and enjoy every last bit!
Kim,
How exciting! Did you get in touch with Decor to Adore for the post card exchange?
Enjoy your vacation and take pictures that you can post when you return! I've never been. Your postcard was mailed Friday so it should be in your mailbox when you return!
Your Friend,
Deborah
Mansfield is getting close to my neck of the woods! I went to the museum as a child with my grandparents and look forward to taking my kids there sometime soon. Enjoy your vacation and be safe!

Love the calling cards. Each and everyone is so unique!
I am always amazed that people road trip to our zoo! I met a lady there who brings her family once a year- they drive 3 hours each way. I guess I just take it for granted but I always see liscense plates from all over in the parking lot. The new Teton Trek exhibit is awesome! The grizzlies love to play in the water and entertain everyone.
Have a great time at the zoo! The new baby giraffe is just about the cutesy thing ever.
We got every week and never get tired of it!
I love Laura Ingalls Wilder (I was probably even more interested because we share names.) Have a WONDERFUL time!
Ah! I am so jealous. I LOVE Laura Ingalls Wilder - hence my blog name. I thought I WAS LIW growing up. :)
Have fun on your trip, hope you enjoy yourself!
Hi Kim,
Such beautiful stationary, I will have to check out her site!
I wanted to let you know that I'll be bragging about you on my blog tomorrow! I'll be featuring your framed bird on my "Brag Monday" post.
Have a great trip, I read all of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books when I was a girl, it sounds like so much fun!

How exciting your road trip sounds! To this day I still love Little House on the Prairie...I wanted to be half pint when I was little. In fact, I was her for halloween when I was in the 4th grade. I hope you'll post lots of pics when you get back!!!!!
Hey, you were/are in my neck of the woods if you headed to the Memphis zoo. It was PACKED out this week. Hope you had a great time!
Oh I just love these!
I love the two facing chairs - road trip - road trip! Say no more!!!! Jennifer
I grew up 9 miles from the Laura Ingalls Wilder home in Mansfield and still live only about 25 miles from it! The funny thing is that I've only been there once when I was about 9.
One of my bff's and I are going to Mansfield for my 40th birthday next month so I can experience of my childhood bucket list items: seeing where Laura and Almonzo lived!
I thought I was a big nerd for wanting this to be my present ... glad there are others out there! :)
