Feedback Please? How Slowly Do the Pages Load Here?

I've made a couple of little changes to the site - mainly a few decorative graphics and a different background for the occasional posted articles. I have cable connection, so I don't have any trouble loading the pages, but I'm concerned about those of you who might be on dial-up, etc. Naturally, entries with tons of photos are going to load slower, but there may be other issues that I'm not aware of - so please, make me aware:)

I'm a faithful Internet Explorer user, and everything looks fine in this browser, but if things look a bit wonky on your browser, please let me know.

Hmmm...also, I would like to invite you to tell me about ways that you feel I could make the site better or easier to use. Don't be shy:) When things aren't so crazy around here (HAH! Right!) I'd like to be able to streamline and better organize the site. So any input from you would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
