Fall Themed Treat Packaging and A Huge Favor Please?

I 'm still on my little blogging hiatus {really!} but I just had to share with you a fun and simple fall food packaging idea before winter sneaks up on us! My daughter's class was studying apples last week and the teacher asked parents to send in apple treats if possible. I decided to make my girls' favorite muffin recipe - cinnamon apple! I wanted to make them a little more special since fall is my absolute favorite time of year...and because kids love things that are fun and unexpected.I had a nice little "pile of leaves" for my daughter to take to school So I ran to Wal-mart and grabbed a couple of bags of silk/fabric fall leaves {a dollar for a bag of 80 leaves}, some twine, and some plastic treat bags. In no time flat, I had a nice little "pile of leaves" for my daughter to take to school and share with her class.

With a hole punch, I just punched a hole at the top of the leaves, fed the twine through, and then tied up the muffin filled bags. The bags I used were pretty long, so instead of cutting them, I just folded them over. This added a little more "poof" to the top, which I liked.

I also made some mint chocolate chip cookies for my other daughter and packaged them much the same way using a different type of plastic bag. I punched a hole in the top of the bag, fed the twine with the leaf through, and tied it off with a simple knot.

I love how packaged treats look, don't you?

While hubs and I continue to work on my studio during my little blog break, I'd like to ask a huge favor from you dear readers.

I've entered a few of Twice Remembered's more popular projects in a contest and I'd be most appreciative if you could take a look at them and rate some or all of them.

At the bottom of each of my project pages linked to below, you'll see five stars next to where it says "Rollover to rate this:". You'll click on a star to rate the project, the 5th star being the highest rating and the 1st star being the lowest.

Thank you SO, so much for taking the time to help me out! I will post 12 of my projects in a new post that will stay at the top of my blog during my "working break". That way, if you can't rate them all at once, you can come back later and easily find the ones you'd like to rate.

You can click on the links below to view and rate my projects {or you can go here to see all the projects listed without the photos}. Each link contains more photos of the project. Thank you SO, so much for taking the time to help me out! If I'm privileged to win in one or more category, that means a little more cash flow for us to work on other projects here at Twice Remembered. So needless to say, your rating matters! Thanks again!

nice wrappings for your treats~ they really make those treats look somewhat 'legit(?)' or more like 'expensive' lol with halloween coming up, how about making some home made treats for trick-or-treat-kids
