Doing a Double Fake & a Blogging Break

S ome of you long time readers may have already seen my "sweetest treats you'll never eat" - my faux dessert creations... but I thought I'd share a few past photos for the new visitors to Twice Remembered. These are my inspiration to keep chipping away at my studioWe'll be installing some cottage style architectural detail to the studio this weekend. so that I can someday produce them in earnest - and in a much more creative and organized atmosphere! Someday it will happen, though it is taking forever. Hubs and I have made a few studio design changes that I'm really excited about. We'll be installing some cottage style architectural detail to the studio this weekend. {More painting! yay! :l} Hubs says that I most certainly will never be finished with the studio if I keep making changes and adding projects, but I've told him that it has to be just right! Do you know that regretful feeling that you sometimes get when you finish a big project and think...I wish I would have done this or I wish I would have done that...? That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid!

I'm going to be taking some time off from blogging for a little while so that I concentrate on my work around here. But I'll be taking photos every step of the way and I will definitely share them when I return. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy looking at some of my old-fashioned faux treats! Take care, everyone!

{Ok, so the last one was one of my real cakes, but I sure would love to reproduce it in faux form!}

Yummy! They look incredibly real and delicious. And as always, I really admire your photo styling. I will have to make some real ones, though not nearly as pretty, to satisfy me now. Have a great working 'break' and looking forward to more of your great photos.
