If You Need Me...

{image from pinterest}

I'll be here...

... or, more specifically, here - Jekyll Island, Georgia.

I've ooohed and ahhed over vintage style bathing suits all summer...

And though I'll have to wait until next year for the perfect suit {$$$}...

I was able to snag a few good deals this year...such as this sweet beach vintage style umbrella with a wooden handle and beautiful lace trim {oh, how I love it so! } for just $15 from Totes....

...and these $5 sunglasses from Ebay...

Not to mention this Croft and Barrow hat from Khols on clearance for $15.60 {my hat is black and white stripe}...

...and this clearance beach tote from Wal-mart for just $5.00...

Maybe by next year hubs will see that $75 - $100 for a good vintage style bathing suit is well worth the money?

But I don't know... I'm pretty sure it will take a lot of convincing on the romantic beaches of Jekyll Island this year...

Either way... I'll see you when I return! Have a great week!

Have fun. I used to live in Jesup, and Jekyll Island was our beach destination on many a hot day. :-)

Kim,

Have a wonderful time in the surf and sun! I adore the vintage looking items you've accumulated so far (and the price tags!) Be careful what you wish for. Jeff may decide for you to go a bit further back in time and you'll be swimming a la natural! hehehe

Deborah

You've got to have one of the swim suits to go with the other items you've bought....have a quick sale for something around your house. Have a wonderful trip! Be safe.

My daughter got her a vintage bathing suit at Target.com for about half of the other store and it looked just as good. So cute!

I forked out for a vintage style suit last year and it is my favourite suit ever. In the past I've always just bought cheap togs and end up having to replace them every year anyway. I feel so gorgeous when I wear mine. They are so flattering and for once I'm not worried about my flabby bits and mummy tummy hanging out in public.
