What $62 Might Get You at the Nashville Flea Market
I had so.much.fun on Friday at the Nashville Flea Market. As I mentioned earlier today, it was just me - no kids or husband:) That meant I could linger for as long as I wanted at any one booth without anyone complaining, hehe. And the weather was beautiful to boot!
Oh how easily I could have dropped $100 or more for beautiful old goodies, but as I mentioned in Friday's post, we were about to use a good chunk o' change for our new doors (see today's earlier entry)and hardware. So needless to say, I had to fight myself to keep from buying too much, lol. So here is what I bought...
A cute little old red and white chair for $11...
And old cream colored woven blanket with cherry red, lime green, and pale blue stripes for $5....
A cute little wooden cottage table for $20....
These old milk bottles are probably my favorite. Someone at some point painted the inside of them white and I love it! I got the set for $20. The little white pitcher beside it was $6.
Oh, and the old silverware in the pitcher, I didn't get at the flea market, but at Goodwill last week for just .25 each. Can't beat that! I don't plan on cleaning them - I love them just the way they are (for decorative use only)!

Kim, what great finds. I love the milk bottles, too. I also just sat out some old silverware, serving pieces, and I love the old tarnish look. AND the doors are so nice. Everything is coming together for you, how nice. I can't wait to see pics after you get them hung.
Kim - you did very well with your purchases - just shows what a gal can do without someone tagging along. I have an old milk bottle and now I know exactly what I am going to do with it!

I especially love the red chair and the table. $20? Wow! I just bought a white pitcher at Goodwill and was wondering what to do with it. Old silverware is a great idea!

I love all of your faboulous finds! I'm just itching to get to the flea market and I think alone or with a like minded friend is the way to go!
The Nashville flea market is my favorite place to go! I wanted to go on Saturday but we had stuff to do around our house so...I plan to be there bright and early next month! I never had much luck on friday's but I haven't been on a friday in years.
$20 for that cute table - I'm so jealous! What a find. I luv those milk bottles. What a great fleamarket - you got some really great stuff!
