My Red Cottage Kitchen Photos on Rate My Space

First of all, thank you all so much for the warm welcomes back to the blogging world. It's been too long! I am so sorry that I'm so far behind on my emails and I *will* get to them all. We had such a blast at the end of December hanging out with our friends and eating, eating, and eating...it's taken me a few days to recoup, and I'm *still* eating leftovers! I made a 28 pound turkey, so you can only imagine how many "fixin's" went along with it!

I will be uploading photos of our kitchen progress here soon, but for now I want to just direct you to my updated photos that I've posted on Rate My Space at HGTV. That way you won't have to wait for me to post them here! Here is the link...let me know what you think! When I post the photos here on my blog, I'll provide more details, but feel free to ask my questions if you have them.

My Rate My Space page has about 20 something photos. Hope you enjoy them!

Incredible! So light and airy.

Remind me, did you paint the subfloor white for now?

I love the clean white floor so much, I think I might have to leave it that way...or stain pine planks white instead.

It looks fantastic! I'm always so excited to see your progress! And I have the same question about the floor. Oh yes, and paint--what did you end up using for your wall color? I LOVE it!

It looks wonderful! I'm aiming for more of a clean, Scandanavian look in our home too afer viewing so many of the Swedish and Norwegian house blogs. I am so impressed with what your have done, especially those gorgeous ceilings. Kudos to you and Hubs!

LOVE your progress Kim. Let me know the wall color. I am liking more creams and whites lately and I think your choice to paint white instead of the green was brilliant and it looks spectacular.

I didn't see this one on Rate My Space, but in my experience, the best-designed spaces on there are not the highest rated.

You have really thought about all the details here, color, moldings, light selection and placement and my personal favorite detail - the beautiful ceiling. Most people don't realize the additional ambience a ceiling with paneling and/or beams creates - which is particularly important in a kitchen. Your space looks professionally designed - Kudos.
