Make Your Monday Highlights

ix Flags, Louisville, really put us through the ringer on Sunday and Monday {I really do think there is such a thing as too much fun} but what a blast we had! A train ride on Saturday coupled with some sight seeing on the way home Tuesday just rounded out our short but sweet vacation. I'm happy to be home safe and sound {and a little sunburned!} though driving through the torrential downpours at night was quite scary! I hope all you near downtown Louisville are able to dry out soon as we hear there is much flooding there. We hope to be able to walk around and explore your beautiful city the next time we visit!

Wow, what a great turnout we had for the 2nd Make Your Monday event - about 3 times as many participants as last week! If you haven't gotten a chance to take a look at the participant list for this week, just check it out here. Thank you all for joining in and making this another great event and I hope you to see you again next week!

Here are a few projects that I really enjoyed from this week:

From Home Sweet Hideaway, a gorgeous teal blue chalkboard...

From Suzy's Sanctuary, a beautiful television cabinet transformation...

From A Little Bit Vintage, a creative box makeover {this was from last week's Make Your Monday}...

From Sanctuary Arts at Home, a lovely bulletin board redo using old sheet music...

From At Home With a Country Lady, an inspiring paint technique used to transform a plain white ceiling medallion...

From TidyMom, a chic and easy burlap memo board...

And from Happy Nester, a fun cabinet painted with chalkboard paint. {also from last week}

I appreciate all the participants who took the time to join in this week! I loved visiting your blogs to see what you've been creating. Thank you for making my Monday!

{Just a reminder, my Blogging For Bliss Giveaway for all Twice Remembered followers and subscribers ends tonight and the winner will be announced Thursday.}

Welcome back! Yes...I heard that Louisville got some serious rain. Scary stuff. Trying hard to get a Make it Monday project cranked out...we'll see. Seems there's always too much to do...and not enough time to get it all done. Dang!

Greetings from Louisville. Yep, we are drowning out here. We had 6 inches in one hour yesterday, CrAzY! I'm glad you got to enjoy 6 flags, it is always a favorite.
I'm not a great commenter but a big fan. Love all your great ideas!

So glad you had a wonderful vacation and arrived safely home. This was my first time participating in anything like this. I just started my blog this past weekend. I'm having so much fun and spending way too much time in blogland. I'm enjoying it though. Thank you for the nod on my ceiling medallion project. I'll look forward to participating again soon since I love do-it- yourself projects. Have a great rest of the week.
