Under the Weather
A few aches and pains are keeping me confined to my couch and under a cozy blanket today, and Ruby is determined not to leave my lap until I'm all better. Then again, even when I'm well, Ruby is determined not to leave my lap. She's just a sweetie pie that way.
Somehow between a party the little ones are going to today and a hobby themed event {geocaching} that they are attending today as well, hubs was able to get the garage straightened up to make room for what we'll purchase on our next big shopping trip to the Home Depot. We'll be getting our baseboards, door trim, beadboard wainscoting, and a few other odds and ends we need for the main areas of the house {living room, kitchen, and hallway}. I've been working on drywall mudding and am just about finished with the areas of our house that need to be completed before beadboard installation. If I'm feeling well enough tomorrow afternoon, we'll go ahead and get the materials. I'm not even sure I'll know how to act in a house with baseboards and door trim!
For now, back to my blanket and heat packs and trying to rearrange Ruby without disturbing her.:)

Kim, I hope you get feeling better soon! I too woke up with a cold this morning...must be going around. Every time I read what you have going on at your home, I so relate. We have lots of trim off and lots that needs to go up. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery! Hugs friend,
Victoria
Sorry to hear your not feeling well. I hope it passes soon.

Feel better soon. You need lots of rest to get so much work finished!
Hope you feel better soon!
I can't begin to tell you how much I look forward to your blogs & Facebook writings!
Aren't our pups just the best little nurses???
Gotta love 'em!!
Oh, dear sis, I'm sorry you're not well. Hope nothing serious, and soon you'll be back on your feet. Can't wait to see your projects on the next phase of your remodeling.
hugs
Enjoy your down time and we hope you are feeling well soon!

I am sitting here reading your blog with my precious Zoey curled up on my lap. She likes to rest her head on the keyboard. I love seeing the picture of Ruby each time I visit your blog. I hope you are feeling better soon. I love soaking in epson salts for aches and pains. Take care.
So sorry to hear you're under the weather! Hope you feel better soon and have a lovely weekend :)
Aren't our pups the most comforting thing in the world? Even if I'm just feeling blue mine sense it and bring me comfort. Seems that so many bloggers are under the weather. Prayers for a quick recovery. Your Ruby will take good care of you. Rest up — sounds like you will be very busy with all the stuff in your garage very soon!
If I lived nearby, I'd bring you some homemade chicken noodle soup! It makes the world a better place. :) Hope you feel better soon!
Your dog is just so cute.
I hope you are soon recovered. I think Ruby has the best medicine -- a warm blanket, a soft sofa, and lots of cuddling! If only she could fetch Flea Market magazine for you!
Deborah
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I have the hot cocoa mugs I bought from you up on my blog. :) I ((HEART)) them! :)
Aw, Isn't Ruby the cutest sweetest thing there is?? I could just rub her ears all day! One of my dogs is very attached to me, too. It's really nice when you're having a low moment! Hope you feel better!
Thank you all! That's so sweet about bringing soup, Heidi!
Lol, Debora, that would be wonderful if Ruby could bring me a copy of Flea Market Style! Then I would be set!
What a sweetie Ruby is~ pets can be so dear in a time we need them most.
Just wanna say how much I enjoy your blog...and I truly hope you are feeling better quick!

I hope you feel better. Sometimes just hanging out like that is the best medicine. :-)
Thank you, Neida! I'm glad you stopped by! Under the Willow, that is so true!
