Make Your Monday Highlights
hat a fabulous Make Your Monday {Week 3} we had! You all have been super busy, I can tell! I enjoyed visiting and reading about all of your creative projects this week. You all deserve a great big pat on the pack!
I'm going to try every week to narrow down my highlights to six bloggers - and that's really hard to do! All the projects listed each week are unique and inspiring and I appreciate each and every one of you for sharing them with all of us!
So, here are a few highlights from this week:
Brit at A Penny Saved is working on this fabulous handpainted wallpaper...
KittyScraps made these beautiful roman shades out of miniblinds....
Shari at My Cottage of Bliss gave her bedroom furniture a beach cottage facelift using beadboard wallpaper...
Amy at the Red Chair Blog made a unique photo frame out of an old book...
Speaking of books, Toadly Crafts created a really nicely detailed memory book out of a children's chunky book...
And last but not least, Angelique of Six in One Hand made the sweetest dog bed out of an old dresser drawer! {Gotta love her cute dog, Shuga, too!}
I hope you've enjoyed these highlights as well as the rest of this week's Make Your Monday participants. Thank you ALL for joining in and visiting!
On the home front, it's back to school week here {first full day is Wednesday - I cannot believe it!}. It seems we've been shopping nonstop since we returned from vacation in order to have the three munchkins ready for the new year. We have all the supplies and clothing, but I'm not quite ready for that first day yet. Lots of organizing and preparing and muffin baking yet to do, plus my mother is in town for the next few weeks! If I'm a bit scarce on an off again in the next little bit, it's because I'm trying to get {and stay!} caught up here at home along with getting back into the swing of things with school. By the way, I have a freshman in high school this year. How strange does that sound?!
I hope you all plan to join in next week's Make Your Monday and I'm looking forward to seeing what you've made! Thanks again for making Week 3 another success!

I love, love, love that handpainted wallpaper. And that dog bed is so cute. I just realized that you are in Nashville. I live in Spring Hill, so not too far! I linked to your chalkboard post from my blog today, just wanted to let you know!
Smiles!

What great projects. The wallpaper is beautiful and the doggie bed is divine! Thanks too for your inspirational blog. I've been a follower for a while and enjoy your projects as well. Take care of your children and post when you can.
Enjoy your day!
Oh Kim, thank you so much for highlighting my furniture facelift project! I'm so honored. :::blush::: It's still looking a little bare in there right now but hopefully, I'll have it all decorated up pretty within a few weeks and I'll be back with an update. :)
Good Morning Miz Kim,
Your party was a great success and I loved visiting everyone's projects. Imagine my shock and delight that you highlighted my roman shade from a mini blind project this week *blushes* It's an honor to be included with the other very creative and talented ladies. Thank you for hosting such a great party.
BTW - I have a sophmore in college, now how weird does that sound? *smiles* Ah school days...
I agree with your choices! I loved the white dresser transformation and creating a photo frame out of an old book! I can't believe that handpainted wallpaper! Wow!
Oh, you're welcome to those that were highlighted - what a great job you and all the other participants did! So inspiring!
Awww, thanks for featuring my wallpaper! It's always fun to unexpectedly come across one of my projects on my favorite blogs!
